"Poll Question" Assignment

"Poll Question"

Today's first assignment is to create a poll question to your blog.


1. In your layout menu, select add a gadget and choose poll question.

2. Create a question to post on your website. The question must be school appropriate
(example: Which of the following is your favorite hobby?)

3. Comment on this blog and let me know what your poll question is.

4. Answer my poll question on the side bar of this page.

5. Answer all of your classmate’s poll questions.  Become a follower of their Blogs.  The blog list is in the Freedline Folder.

Blogger Assignments

Today's second assignment is to create a new post to your blog. In this post your will write your thoughts on a current event in the world. Give your post an appropriate title.

1. Begin by first explaining the event in detail. Make sure you state: who, what, when, where and why about the event. Everyone should have a good understanding about the event from your post even if they have never heard of it. You can also add images or links to stories about the event on your post.

2. Next write your thoughts about this event. Be very descriptive and honest about your feelings. This should be in detail and at least two or three paragraphs.

3. When finished view and comment on other classmates blogs. Be respectful in your comments. Use complete sentences and proper grammar in your posts or comments.


Examples of some current events you can discuss:

• Arizona Shooting
• The Economy
• NFL Football Playoffs
• Winter Weather

These are just some examples but you may discuss any current events that are of interest to you.
